The Monteverde Cloud Forest

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Enjoy these aerial views of Costa Rica, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist RobSKyHigh. The video was filmed over the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, a mountainous area which is frequently covered by low-lying clouds. Covering portions of the neighboring provinces of Puntarenas and Alajuela, it's part of the Cordillera de Tilarán mountain range in the northwestern part of the country. The reserve covers about 40 square mi. (around 110 square mi.) of mostly virgin forest.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve located in a mountainess region of Costa Rica has an amazing display of biodiversity. This video was shot near the El Tigre Waterfalls hike and over the small town of Santa Elena. It was a highlight in our recent trip to Costa Rica. This video was shot on a Mavic 3 Pro.
