The Hague - My Home from Sunrise to Sunset

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : For a first upload, brand-new contributor City Films by Louis brings us this excellent drone video of the Hague, the third-largest city in the Netherlands as well as its administrative capital. The Hague is located on the country's North Sea coastline, in the province of South Holland. Shot with a DJI Mavic 3 drone, the video captures the city's modern skyline, some of its historic windmills and churches, as well as some sights in the city's outlying territory, including the SkyView de Pier Ferris wheel at the pier of Scheveningen.

A few months ago I started making my first ever drone film in The Hague, Netherlands. After much doubt about which drone to buy, I eventually went for the DJI Mavic 3. With this drone I was able to capture some really nice footage of this beautiful city and due to the many rules and restrictions in The Hague's city center, I tried to make optimal use of the telephoto camera inside the drone. That really gave me a lot of opportunities to make a full-fledged 'film' of The Hague. A video of The Hague, without its majestic city center would have been a real shame.

My first ever drone film is now finished (I made some short videos with my sony camera in the past before), so I'm still constantly improving my shots, compostion and editing - but I'm actually very pleased and proud of the final result.

The sequences in this video were made from the 'Zuiderpark' (Southern park), 'Zuiderstand' (Southern beach), Kijkduin beach, Scheveningen beach, Loosduinen, a park next to the famous Madurodam museum, Voorburg, and a section next to The Hague's HS Station where it was legal to fly.

Plenty to enjoy here for fans of The Netherlands, as well as people who just really enjoy seeing a good sunrise/sunset :)
