On this episode of The Drone Dish, Tyler Mason catches up with Elena Buenrostro the CEO and Founder of Women Who Drone Elena talks about why she thought it was important to start a community that was all about educating and empowering women who were interested in drones. She now travels the country meeting fellow female drone pilots and teaching workshops. See her journey in her own words and images in this video. Her journey into being a pilot started with a trip to the Great Wall of China. Elena has been a professional cinematographer for almost a decade, so knew she wanted to film the experience but wasn’t sure how. She started researching and saw videos of drone footage. From there, Elena purchased a DJI Mavic Pro then set off. She’s been loving flying ever since.
