The Bridge

AirVuz contributor John Kokotinis brings us this stunning drone video of the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, one of the modern wonders of Greece.  The cable-stayed structure spans the Gulf of Corinth, connecting the mainland of Central Greece with the city of Patras on the Peloponnese Peninsula.  With a total length of almost 2.9k meters (almost 9.5k ft.), it's one of the longest bridges of its type in the world; its longest span is just under 1.85k ft. or about 560 m.  The bridge was opened just before the Athens-hosted 2004 Summer Olympics.
