Teotihuacan - Ancient City of Aztec Gods

Located about 25 mi. (around 40 km) northeast of Mexico City, Teotihuacan pre-dates the Aztec Empire by hundreds of years. Most of the pyramids and other structures which distinguish the city were built in the first 2-3 centuries of the Common Era, during which it was the largest city in the Western City and one of the half-dozen largest cities in the world.
