Tenusa Island - Basilan
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this fantastic drone video of an almost-unkown island in the Philippines. Tenusa Island is part of the Sulu Archipelago, a group of islands lying to the west of Mindanao, the main island of the southern Philippines. Tenusa (Bihintinusa) is a tiny island lying off of the southern coast of Basilan, the largest of the Sulu mini-archipelago. Barely visible on a map, and with no permanent residents, Tenusa sparkles in the Sulu Sea. The video was created by contributor and drone pilot Ian Gongona.

Located in the southern part of Basilan in the town of Sumisip. This dreamy island is paradise in every essence of the word. Basilan province in the Philippines is portrayed in the mainstream media as one of the most dangerous places in Mindanao due to terrorist activities. However, unknown to most, the people here are very friendly and accommodating as what's generally known characteristics of Filipinos. The truth is, there are bad people everywhere in the world BUT there are far more good people that go unnoticed. Let's stop the stigma. Basilan is safe. People are friendly. I am for peace. Love for Basilan.
