Target Fireworks 2018

AirVuz collaborated with the Minneapolis Downtown Council to produce this drone video of the fireworks celebration that caps off the city's biggest summer festival. The Minneapolis Aquatennial occurs in mid-July and celebrates the aquatic heritage of the city, known as the City of Lakes. The last night of the week+ long celebration is a large fireworks display over the Mississippi River near downtown, which for many years has been sponsored by the Minneapolis-based retailer Target.

An aerial view of the Target Fireworks, a highlight of the annual Aquatennial celebration in downtown Minneapolis on July 21, 2018. The fireworks draw around 250,000 spectators to downtown Minneapolis. It's one of the five largest fireworks displays in the United States and includes more than 10,000 pounds of explosives. Popular viewing spots for the fireworks include the iconic Stone Arch Bridge and several spots along the Mississippi River, including the West River Parkway.
