Sunset at Moritzburg Castle - Saxony I 4K

This architectural masterpiece is situated on an artificial lake island in the state of Saxony, just a short distance from the state capital Dresden. It was built in the middle 16th century, initially as a hunting lodge for the then-Duke of Saxony. Subsequent major modifications, including the addition of a chapel, occurred in the 17th and 18th centuries; during this time, the castle took on its Baroque style.
