Here's a nice aerial mini-tour of the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa, compliments of contributor aeroodessa.  It's the city's third most populous city (after Kiev and Kharkov) and the home of its main port on the Black Sea.  Nicknamed the Pearl of the Black Sea, Odessa was established as a Greek trading outpost during the Antiquity, and successively came under the control of (among others) the Golden Horde, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Ottoman Empire, the Russian Empire, and the USSR.
