The home field of the Arizona State University Sun Devils men's football team, it's located about 18 km (around 11 mi.) southeast of downtown Phoenix. The 53.6k seat stadium just completed a major, US$300MM renovation. It was the home of the Phoenix Cardinals of the National Football League from 1988-2005. It was the venue for the Fiesta Bowl for 35 years and later the Cactus Bowl.
