St Lucia
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this fantastic drone video of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, compliments of top contributor and pilot 8 Fifty Productions. St. Lucia is situated roughly in the middle of the Windward Antilles chain which runs in an approximately north-south line from Dominica to Trinidad. Known at one time as the "Helen of the West Indies" due to its alternating control by France and Great Britain, it's been fully independent since 1979. Visually, it is best distinguished by the 950 meter (just over 3k ft.) volcanic island Mt. Gimie.

Saint Lucia is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. The island was previously called Iyonola, the name given to the island by the native Amerindians and later, Hewanorra, the name given by the native Caribs. Part of the Lesser Antilles, it is located north/northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique.
