Sile Feneri

Şile Feneri is one of the most famous lighthouses in Turkey.  It's located at the end of cape in Şile, an old town on the shores of the Black Sea just east of Istanbul.  The lighthouse was designed by a French architectural firm commissioned by the Ottoman rulers and went into service in 1860.  The tower stands 19 meters (about 62 ft.) tall.
