Located in Southampton, on Long Island's South Shore, Shinnecock is believed to be the oldest incorporated golf club in the USA. A founding member of the US Golf Association, it's hosted numerous high profie tournaments, including five US Opens as of 2024, most recently in 2018. It's scheduled to host its sixth US Open in 2026. Unusually, it admitted women members from its founding.
