Semuc Champey - Guatemala
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor and drone pilot nachobovery created this beautiful aerial video of a natural monument in Guatemala called Semuc Champey. It's a bridge made of limestone over the Cahabón River, a waterway which runs through the eastern part of this Central American country. It is situated in the department of Alta Verapaz Department, which covers the central part of Guatemala. While it's not easily accessible, as you'll see from the video, it's a stunningly beautiful place in the heart of Central America.

Semuc Champey (Where the river hides under the stones) is a natural monument in the department of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, near the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín. It consists of a natural 300 m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabón River. Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming attraction. Although it can be difficult to get to, Semuc is becoming more and more popular with travelers.
