The European main route E77 passes through the village, as well as the main routes of buses and railways, thanks to which it has good connections with the surrounding villages. The non-electrified single-track railway line Kraľovany - Trstená also passes through the village, on which passenger and freight trains run regularly. The village is located in the foothills of Orava Magura and Orava Highlands.
