The first of the in-depth videos of this Scotland trip: We start at Tantallon Castle with its great curtain wall, begun around 1350 and jutting out into the sea. Next is the strange bridge over Biel water that is only accessible at low tide; at high tide it stands completely in the water. Hailes Castle (closed like so many) is mostly from the 14th century and sits above the River Tyne. St. Martin's Kirk in Haddington is a parish church from the 1100s - tough wind. Craigmillar Castle was begun in the late 1300s and is hard to picture without a drone. Finally we come to St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh, the most beautiful neo-gothic building I know. Drones: DJI FPV (GoPro 10), Rekon 5 (GoPro 6), GepRC Cinelog 25 HD (GoPro 8), DJI Mini 2, additional footage by Osmo Pocket and iPhone 13 Pro Max Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/roger-gabalda/the-golden-path (shortened) License code: JPLZGEWVRQMYOSBC
