So I pulled the trigger and bought ReelSteady. I appreciate what it can do as far as saving footage on a flight that maybe you only get one shot at and it's windy or something. I ran into this problem when I was flying in Shiprock, New Mexico. It was mid day and no clouds or ND filter at the time so the footage was a little shaky. I plan on running some of that old footage through ReelSteady and seeing how it does. I will say it really is a pain in the ass! It takes forever to render and the shot sometimes zooms in and freaks out! It can be frustrating but I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs. Overall I like the way the footage turns out. Oh and it's definitely not for crazy freestyle tricks...more for cruising and whatnot. Hope you guys enjoy!
