Contributor Shazar created this amazing drone video of one of the world's largest fortresses. Ranikot Fort is located in the state of Sindh in southern Pakistan. The location is was known to be fortified as early as the Antiquity. The current fortress structure dates to the 17th century, with extensive modifications in the early 1800's. Ranikot's walls run a total of about 20 mi. (32 km), making it the largest fortress in the world measured by interior space. It was originally built by the Talpur tribe.

Ranikot Fort is also known as The Great Wall of Sindh and is believed to be the world's largest fort with a circumference of approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi). The fort's ramparts have been compared to the Great Wall of China. The site was nominated in 1993 by the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO world heritage status, and has since been on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.The fort is listed as a historical site under the Antiquities Act, 1975 and its subsequent amendments, and is provided protection.
