Rainy Days - Impressions of Scotland

Finally. I thought this scenes will rest in peace on the cemetery of unused footage, but after nearly two years of non-editing this clip emerged all of a sudden. The usually relentless bird had a hard time in Scotland due to the intermissions that came with the water. During traveling of this road trip the weather was pretty stable. Arriving was the time when a billion liters of rainwater poured out of nowhere and made another site impossible to capture. Except the extraordinary sunset in Portknockie and the last mile to St Andrews there was very little luck regarding some clearness of the sky. A few days the drone was stuck because a new motor and a speed controller was needed. At that time, we were in Ireland and at first it seemed a bit hard to get replacement parts here. Luckily 'Radio Controlled Shop' and 'Copter Shop Ireland' had them in stock and are in the area around Dublin, where we were at that moment. The repair was made at the parking lot of Maplin Electronics' store in Belfast with Vauxhalles electricity and the copter was ready for takeoff again when we were heading to Scotland.
