Racing to Catch the Sunset at Elvis Presley Lake

Contributor and drone pilot strange2075 raced the sunset and won to capture this epic aerial view of Elvis Presley Lake near Tupelo, Mississippi. The lake is located in Lee County, in the northeastern corner of the state. It is named in honor of Tupelo's (and possibly Mississippi's) most famous son, Elvis Presley. He was born in Tupelo in 1935 and spent his formative years here. In 1948, his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee; while it took longer than, now it's only a two-hour drive to the northwest on I-22.
