Prokosko Lake | Winter 2025

Prokosko lake is one of my favorite places in Bosnia and Hercegovina and we were lucky to capture it fully covered in snow. 

The crystal-clear glacial lake, surrounded by wooden huts and rugged peaks, offers an incredible backdrop for capturing cinematic footage. The high-altitude terrain makes for exhilarating flights, with sweeping dives down cliffs and smooth cruises over the water.

Prokoško Lake is often inaccessible in winter due to heavy snowfall. The road leading up to the lake is not regularly maintained, making it nearly impossible to reach without specialized vehicles or hiking gear. If I manage to get there in winter, the untouched snowy landscape would make for some truly unique FPV shots.
