AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Poland is the second largest coal producer in Europe, after Russia. The vast majority of the country's electric needs are supplied by coal (including lignite, a type of lower-quality coal) fired power plants, including the world's largest lignite-fired power plant. In this video, AirVuz contributor Dronujemy provides us with an aerial tour of the Poznań Karolin Heat Power Station, which has a rated capacity of about 275 MW. It's located near Poznan, in the western part of the country.
