Pollution in Mexico City
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Award-winning contributor Postandfly used a drone to document one of the darker sides of Mexico City: its pollution. He flew a drone out over the Mexican capital on one of its worst air quality days yet, providing a compelling visual testament to the limits of urban growth. The largest city in the Western Hemisphere, Mexico City's smog is a function not just of its size but the fact that it's in a valley surrounded by mountains. It's a combination that can yield conditions like what you'll see here.

On May 13 2019, I documented one of the most polluted days in Mexico City due to forest fires, climate, traffic and industrial activity.
