Philippines - El Nido: Matinloc Island

We had lunch at this area, which had some decent corals for snorkelling as well. There’s a shrine nearby, but we didn’t stop there as we were interested in visiting other highlights, which is one of the great liberties you have when doing your own tour. I’ve mentioned it many times, but you’re well advised to organise your trip and get some people to join you, because things get very crowded here and nothing spoils a nice beach, like not having any space to swim, because it’s full of boats. We were able to avoid the big crowds, we left earlier and came back after sunset and just had the best possible trip for p1400 each, that’s only a few hundred more than any other tour. Tours here divided in Tour A, B, C and D. You can do combination tours as well. A and C visit the best locations, we did a combination of those 2.
