Philippines - Coron: Barracuda Lake

Aerial film of Barracuda Lake at Coron, Palawan, Philippines. This amazing lake is one of the 7 hidden lakes in the mountains of Coron Island, only 2 are open to public. Barracuda Lake is a very unusual dive site famous for its Thermocline. The first 4m layer of water is actually fresh water around 28°C. When you are going down when diving you then meet salt water. There is a huge Thermocline and Heliocline at 14m deep and the water temperature rises to 38°C! The entrance to the place is amazing. Thanks to organising a private boat tour we arrived here when no one was here and had the whole lake to ourselves, except for security. Coron Island is one of the stunning locations I've ever seen, surrounded by beautiful lagoons and bays. The scenery is stunning from the boat, but the drone gives an even better view on the surrounding.
