The Punta Cana region of the Dominican Republic covers the eastern side of the country, which shares the island of Santo Domingo with Haiti.  It is a small peninsula at the country's eastern tip.  Amongst its most legendary beaches is Bavaro Beach, which sits on the northern side of Punta Cana, facing the Atlantic Ocean.  The beach was recently named by Coastal Living as one of the world's top 25 beaches.  You can check it out from a bird's eye perspective in this drone video by content creator ad pilot BE:73 Aerial.
