Perito Moreno glacier

The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia, Argentina. It is 78 kilometers from the town of El Calafate and was named after the discoverer Francisco Moreno. It is part of the South Patagonian Glacier Field, one of the three Patagonian glaciers, which is still growing. At the end of the glacier, its width reaches 5 km and the average height is 74 m above the surface of Lake Argentino. The total depth of the ice is 170 meters.
