Parish of Mosteiros

The video was filmed over the town of Mosteiros, which lies on the western end of the island, the largest and most populous of the Azores archipelago. Mosteiros is most easily recognizable by the numerous islets which lie just offshore, which feature prominently in the video. It's part of the municipality of Ponta Delgada, an administrative region which includes the Azores' capital city.

Está situada no extremo Poente da ilha, a cerca de 30 quilómetros de Ponta Delgada e a uns dez das termas e zona balnear da Ferraria. A sua implantação desenvolve-se entre as cotas 16 a 30 metros acima do nível do mar, configurando uma espécie de grande fajã.

Mosteiros is a parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores. It has an area of 8.98 km² and 1,123 inhabitants (2011 census). It is situated at the west end of the island, about 30 kilometers from Ponta Delgada and about ten from the hot baths and bathing area of Ferraria. Its implementation develops between as quotas 16 to 30 meters above sea level, configuring a kind of great flat field near a cliff.
