Fueled by the country's plentiful natural gas supplies, gas-fired plants emit far less particulate, sulfur, and other contaminants compared to coal plants. In this video, Aerial Vision Chicago gives us a nice drone's eye view of the JPower USA simple-cycle gas-fired power plant in suburban Chicago, IL, which has a rated capacity of 1,350MW.
