Opened in 1974 and situated on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, Orchestra Hall is the home of the Minnesota Orchestra. In keeping with the Twin Cities' reputation as a leading arts center, the Minnesota Orchestra is generally considered to be at a level comparable to the so-called Big Five orchestras of Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
