Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye, Scotland

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Dronescape brings us this excellent drone video of a famous rock formation in Scotland called the Old Man of Storr. The rocky hill is situated on the Trotternish, the northernmost peninsula on the Isle of Skye. The formation is what's known as a landslip, a geological phenomenon caused by the action of gravity on rock and soil. The Old Man of Storr has earned numerous cultural references, most notably appearing as a filming location in Ridley Scott's 2012 sci fi film Prometheus.

During the October half term Holiday 2020 my family and I went on a week long holiday to Scotland. Although the weather was not fantastic, I did manage to film quite a bit on my Phantom 4 Pro+ drone on my journey. One such location we went was to the Isle of Skye, which is the most magnificent place, full of natural wonder! I managed to get to the Old Man of Storr very early in the morning just as the sun rose and the Storr was shrouded in mist, it looked very mystical. Please note I am just starting out with drone photography only been flying less than a year and still have a lot to learn but I am getting better. Hope you enjoy the video!
