Nunney Castle
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Nunney Castle is one of the finest medieval castles in South West England. Seen in this drone video by contributor dslr50mm, it's located in County Somerset. It was built in the late 14th century by Sir John Delamare, a nobleman who had fought in the Hundred Years War against France. The moated castle incorporates a number of design elements which likely reflected what Delamare saw amongst France during his time fighting on the European Continent. THe castle has been in a ruined state since the English Civil War of the mid-1600's.
