Nuestra señora de la Asunción (Panamá Viejo) It was the first city of the Spanish Empire overlooking the Pacific Ocean. From it sailed the ships with the treasures coming from El Dorado (Inca Empire). Besieged by pirates and corsairs since 1621 and abandoned after its capture and destruction in 1671. The city was moved to what is known today as #elcascoantiguo. But that's another video. Enjoy the views and audio.
