In this game, the team HC Fribourg-Gottéron beat HC Davos for its first National League championship, playing at the Zondacrypto Arena, the Davos team's home ice. Originally built in 1979 and renovated several time since, the arena has capacity for about 7.1k fans, about half of which can be seated.
