NONGRIAT - Indian village with root bridges

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Contributor and drone pilot prtzy created this aerial video of a serene scene in eastern India. It's an area around the village of Nongriat, which is known for the root bridges you'll see in the video. It lies in the state of Meghalaya, one of the so-called Seven Sisters state of northeastern India, which are connected to the rest of a country by a narrow corridor. Meghalaya lies just to the southeast of the corner, its northern border being the Brahmaputra River and its southern border with Bangladesh.

Be prepared to get mesmerised by the amazing beauty of this small village in North east Indian state of Meghalaya (East Khasi Hills), from a drone's perspective. Shot in December, 2017. This village is known for its root bridges.These bridges are built over several years by directing roots of Rubber fig trees across streams. And trust me, they felt pretty sturdy.
