Haven't grown up here, so I went to New York City to be born again. I always wonder what it would be like to see this city as a tourist. I have to believe that New York always lives up to its reputation. The buildings really are that tall. The lights really are that bright. There's truly a story on every corner. To not feel the bright lights even as they fill the air. To see the tall buildings and only feel a deep longing for the stars. I remember walking across Sixty-second Street one twilight that first winter, or the second winter, they were all alike for a while. I was late to meet someone but I stopped at Lexington Avenue and bought a coffee for her at Starbucks (not as Italian Coffee). Midnight into morning coffee, burning through the hours talking... People often ask me what i like most about New York? I always say the same answer. Purpose... everyone who is here is for Purpose. You work hard, you are here to transform dreams into reality. So, how do you make your dream reality? You chase it, chase it with continual persistence and force and intention! Chase it more vigorously and tenaciously, than what you did yesterday, and tomorrow, even more so than today and still continue doing that. Each and everyday you have breath in your lungs!
