Mystical Samothrace is a video inspired by my 12-day tour of the island of Samothrace, in the North Aegean of Greece. Samothrace with its incomparable natural wealth is the only Aegean island that combines mountain and sea. The rich and potable waters that spring from Mount Saos and create dozens of natural pedestals are a pole of attraction for thousands of nature lovers from all over the world. Samothrace in ancient times was one of the most important places of worship where the Kavirian Mysteries were celebrated and the most important archaeological find of the island, the Statue of Nike, the greek goddess of Victory, Niké of Samothrace or the Winged Victory of Samothrace, where in Greek Nike means Victory, is one of the most precious exhibits of the Louvre Museum in Paris. The name of that goddess is being used by a well-known athletic brand.
