The youngest of Mexico's 31 states (it graduated from territorial status only in 1974), Baja California covers roughly the southern half of the Baja Peninsula. One of Mexico's least densely populated states, Baja California Sur is home to some of the country's most spectacular seaborne wildlife, some of which is on display in the video.
