Mountains of KOREA

While by far the most recognizable spots in South Korea are its giant cities which lie on its coastal plains, much of the interior of the country is covered by mountains. The country's highest mountains lie in range which runs just inland from the eastern coast, with another grouping in the southwest part of the country.  In this piece by topcontributor Chris Jeon, you'll get some magnificent aerial views of this little-seen side of South Korea.
