Monte Gradiccioli & Tamaro (Ticino, Switzerland)

Monte Gradiccioli is a ridged mountain between Monte Tamaro and Monte Pola and leads to the lake of Lugano. Monte Gradiccioli is part of the ridge known as “La Traversata”. La Traversata connects Monte Lema in the south with Monte Tamaro in the north and consists of eight peaks. The highest mountain is MonteTamaro with its 1962meters, followed by Monte Gradiccioli at a height of 1936 meters. From Monte Gradiccioli you get to Monte Tamaro in the North and to Monte Pola in the South, moreover the lake of Lugano can be reached following the path. The mountain is easily accessible from the village of Arosio in Malcantone. Within an hour walking you get to “Arosio basso”. By following the ridge north-east, you will reach the top of Monte Gradiccioli.
