Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis
Updated 05/10/2019 04:10Despite the winter weather, Minneapolis, Minnesota is considered one of the nation's top cities for bikers. Critical to this is its network of biking paths. One of the newest is the Midtown Greenway, a roughly 9 km (5.5 mi.) east-west path which connects the Uptown area near the city's Chain of Lakes to the Mississippi River to the east. As this drone footage by dronempls shows, the Greenway runs underneath many busy streets, offering cyclists (and pedestrians) a safer way to get across the city.
