In this impressive DVOW Finalist video, he reveals the seemingly untouched beauty around the municipality of Metztitilán, in the state of Hidalgo in east Mexico. This area is home to the Barranca de Metzitlán Biosphere Reserve, the states's largest reserve, which contains a variety of ecosystems.

Barranca de Metztitlán Biosphere Reserve is located in Hidalgo. The landscape is simply spectacular. Canyons, rock formations, rivers and an impressive lagoon make it a true natural wonder. It also has very pretty little towns highlighting Meztitilán and its Convent of the Tres Reyes Magos built by the Dominicans. The Lagoon is a refuge for birds of which many are migratory. The lack of rain has caused the lagoon to lose its extension considerably.
