Merchant House - Sri Lanka Adventure

This video shares a glimpse into the adventurous two week bike trip in the Northern territories of Sri Lanka early march 2020, whilst also giving a rare look into luxury Merchant House villa, in Ahangama. Arrived mid February in Sri Lanka after having spent some time in neighbouring Goa state, India ; I was eager to hit the road, travel and explore the northern territories of Sri Lanka. Whilst still in the early stages of what would then become a raging deadly world-wide pandemic, my friend Lina whom I met in Sri Lanka, and I, would rent a bike and start a journey that would take us all around the nation wide tropical island. By the end of our initially planned two week trip, we got stuck in the city of Anuradhapura for 10 days during Sri Lanka's first nation-wide lockdown. By the end of it, we decided to hit the road again, and travel down south where we knew we'd find refuge in a beautifully furbished luxurious colonial villa, in Ahangama thanks to the generosity and kindness of Jamie and David whom we got in touch with. This villa would become our safe haven sanctuary and home for the next 3 months to come...
