Masino Valley - Chapter II - Porcellizzo Valley (Lombardy, Italy)

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor Kpax brings us the second part of a series of drone videos from the Masino Valley in northern Italy. The valley is located in the Italian Alps in the region of Lombardy, roughly an hour's drive north of the city of Milan. This video was filmed over the valley created by the mountain known as Pizzo Porcelizzo in Sondrio, the northernmost of the Lombardy provinces. You'll see some nice shots of the Gianetti Hut (Rifugio Gianetti), which sits at an altitude of about 8.3k ft. above sea level (a bit over 2.5k m).

Rifugio Gianetti

Gianetti Hut is located in upper Porcelizzo valley at 2534 m. of altitude and can be reached only on foot through the trail, with departure from Bagni del Masino in 3 hours and a half at normal pitch; moreover, you can reach the hut from Omio, Brasca or Allievi huts situated along Roma trail, owhereof Gianetti is a stop-over.It’s also base for important ascents on Pizzo Badile and Pizzo Cengalo and many others
