Created with both drone and ground camera footage, the video was filmed on the island of Thinadhoo, which is one of the five main islands of the Vaavu Atoll. With a full-time population of less than 2k, the Vaavu Atoll is one of the smallest groupings of the Maldives, which consist of about two dozen atolls spread out over a vast area.

I was lucky to visit beautiful Thinadhoo (Vaavu Atoll) in December 2021 and took advantage of my stay to capture some colorful footage. It is a wonderful place filled with kind and friendly people...and lots of sun and sea life. I hope this video will bring you some of the colors, warmth, and beauty of this slice of Paradise. Filmed (mostly) on iPhone 13 Pro and DJI Mavic 3.
