The Basque people of southwestern Europe have a highly distinct culture, which evolved in partial isolation due to the mountains which run along the head of the Bay of Biscay. While the heart of the region is in northern Spain, a portion reaches into southwestern France. Cabaye created this beautiful aerial video of the French portion of Basque Country, which begins a bit south of Bordeaux and runs to the Spanish border. The video includes footage of Hendaye, Artzamendi, Rhune, and Biarritz.
