MOUNTAINS AND LAKES

Check out this excellent drone video of Greece's Lake Mornos, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot John Kokotinis.  Mornos is actually an artificial reservoir lake which was created by the damming of the river of the same name in the 1970's.  It's located in the municipality of Delphi in the Central Greece region.  The water source for the lake is the nearby Oiti Mountains.  The water stored in the lake is conveyed via aqueduct to Athens, which lies about 150 mi. (around 250 km) to its southeast.
