Bucovina is a historical region which is now divided roughly equally between Romania and Ukraine (to the north). Most of Romanian Bucovina is part of Suceava County. The landscape here is largely covered by the mountains of the Eastern Carpathians. The specific areas featured in the video include the area around the town of Vatra Dornei, in southeastern Suceava County, as well as Lake Colibița.
