MADEIRA ISLAND | 4K Drone Footage

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : While Madeira is an archipelago, the vast majority of the land area and population of this region of Portugal is on the main island which bears the same name. The island is merely the top of a giant volcano on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean. Madeira is about 22 km at its widest (about 14 mi) and it has a total shoreline of about 90 km (a bit under 60 mi.). The island's volcanic origins makes for some spectacular geological scenery, as you'll see in this beautiful drone video by contributor Rasmus-HP.
