Take in these drone views of a castle town in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Manx.Cat.  The town of Castelnou takes its name from the medieval castle which sits atop it.  It's located several mi/km inland from the Mediterranean Sea coastline in Pyrénées-Orientales, the southernmost department of Metropolitan France.  It's part of a historical region known as Northern Catalonia, the Catalan-speaking territory acquired by France from Spain in the mid-17th century Treaty of the Pyrenees.
